I'm super excited about going and seeing Chris Tomlin tomorrow. But there is one thing that is on my mind that I can't shake. I've been burdened with this most of the day. I received tragic news today. I found out that one of my old friends new husband committed suicide. I can't imagine the grief that she must be going through right now. I bring this up here so that the power of prayer can take place in her life. I ask all who read this to pray for this young lady. Her name is Erin. I've seen what takes place from blog to blog. It's a beautiful thing when we can rally in prayer for someone, even someone we don't know. I pray that she doesn't do anything rash but that she will turn to the Lord. I know she has Christian influence in her family but like me, she has lived far from God. If anything I pray that this situation will result in the salvation of her soul somehow. I keep thinking of the same scripture over and over. "-God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;"
I'm calling these things that do not exist as though they did. Our God is Able. He hears, He cares. He answers.

I'll be praying for Erin. What an incredibly hard situation for her to overcome. Glad to hear she has some Christians in her family. Hopefully they will be a source of comfort and encouragement for her.
Have a great time at the concert! Chris Tomlin is a favorite of mine! It should be great!
