Alberta Clipper Go Away!

This is the coldest weather we have had in about a decade. Monday a storm rolled through Northern Iowa. They talked the thing to death. We were expecting a huge blizzard and we only got 4 inches of snow along with some wind after the snow. Then last night another storm came through and dumped somewhere around 5 more inches of snow. This time the temperature dropped dramatically. This morning it was a whopping 15 below zero. Tonight the temp. will be around 25 below with the wind chill reaching 45 below zero. I think I will start saving my vacation time from work for this time of the year. I really wish I was on a tropical island about right now.

With two snow falls back to back, my drive way could use a good scooping. my cut off point for shoveling snow is 10 below zero. The snow will just have to wait until it warms up.

Hey Mike,
Tiffany right now is wanting some of that snow. You can keep the cold temp's though.:)
You will have to go on a missions trip to Jamacia this time next year. You should join Kris's church team next year to Jamacia.:)
Have a great day!

It has warmed up here to about 2 degrees. At least that is about zero!
Pook called us last night about 12:00am his water pipes have frozen. He was unable to get to the main shut off because his crawl space has about 6" of water in it. So the city water people came out to shut it off at the street sight.
When it rains it pours or in this case freezes.
Then he leaves for Jamacia on sat.

I was wondering how your house was getting along? Since this is the first winter you have spent in it.
